Ethical statement

Our specimens are ethically and legally sourced. All items comply to current legislation both international (CITES) and national (Czech) regulations. All specimens of CITES listed species are provided with appropriate paperwork. We strive to provide reliable and responsible services and approach. After all, we are lovers of nature and wildlife, too, and consider its protection to be one of the highest priorities of society. In case of any questions, feel free to contact us.

1

Ethically sourced

Most of our specimens come from private breeding and ZOOs within the EU. When we acquire specimens from the wild, they come only from legal hunting and pest control, from trustworthy sources and with permits when needed. We strictly avoid any kind of poached specimens. Some of our pieces also come from decades old collections, some of them had already been displayed in museums etc. When we manage to acquire a piece like that, we offer it for further use.

2

Ethical business

The animals we sell are not killed to be sold. Most often the ZOO or similar institution makes the call about an animal's life for health or care reasons, or the animal is naturally deceased. Instead of being disposed of afterwards, it is provided to further serve for scientific, educational or decoration purposes. Then the animal is professionally cleaned and available for trade, thus is the animal given "afterlife" and can end up in a private, university or museum collection.

3

Proper documentation

We strictly adhere to CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora). We provide CITES commercial exception documentation for CITES 1 (A) species. This permit is issued by local authorities after verifying the origin of the animal and the particular specimen. For CITES 2 and 3 (B and C) species, we provide proof of origin with the information about the animal. We can further provide a transfer statement required by some countries.
