Used, second-hand items or collectables. What does it mean? Most of our offer we acquire from private collectors or providers who have their own exhibits. The items marked as used goods just means that the item is sold in a special regime, more akin to an antique, rather than a regular factory-packed product.
-
Where do you get your items? Is this ethical? Most of our specimens come from private breeding and ZOOs within the EU. When we acquire specimens from the wild, they come only from legal hunting and pest control, from trustworthy sources and with permits when needed. We strictly avoid any kind of poached specimens. Some of our pieces also come from decades old collections, some of them had already been displayed in museums etc. When we manage to acquire a piece like that, we offer it for further use. Read full Ethical statement.

Why are your items so expensive? Or so cheap? The price of natural collectables can be tricky to determine, as these are unique items for niche customers. The price mostly derives from the market value and can also be affected by the cost of the deceased animal, the cleaning costs and the difficulty of storage. However, the main determinants are rarity and the state of the specimen. If the price seems off – too cheap, buy it. If the price seems off – too expensive, feel free to explore other items that you find more reasonably priced.
